There is a problem with mp4box
practically makes the first pass and then stops
does not perform the other 2 steps to complete the conversion
instead if you set FFmpeg as default instead of MP4Box complete execution
I returned to the version 2018.02.18.1
waiting for the bug to be correct

Instead if you convert to avi format
whatever the format mediainfo indicates

MPlayer and FFmpeg Muxer

Frame rate                               : 29.970 (30000/1001) FPS

Original frame rate                      : 29.970 (29970/1000) FPS
OR
Frame rate                               : 23.976 (24000/1001) FPS

Original frame rate                      : 23.976 (23976/1000) FPS

25.000 or 30.000 OK

Need a source sample and settings which allow me to reproduce the issue.
Since I haven't changed anything in that part of the code for ages with might be:
a. a problem with the analysis of the source
b. a bug in MP4Box
both I can't fix without a sample or lots of details about the source and what your are doing to reproduce this.

Try it on any file, it should give you the same problem
same thing for converting to avi and checking with mediainfo in text mode

Taking a random telecined 29.97fps source, letting Hybrid IVTC the source and using x265 as encoder (MP4Box is used as muxer).

The output is reported as:

Muxing call was:
MP4Box -par 1=8:9 -add "H:\Temp\08_04_31_1710_03.265"#video:fps=23.976 -brand hvc1 -itags tool="Hybrid 2018.05.10.1" -tmp "H:\Temp" -new "H:\Output\08_04_31_1710__06.mp4"

-> so no problem here. Which is why I asked for more details since using any file and any settings doesn't seem to do the trick here.

It is a bug of MP4Box

I think I solved the problem
or used UniversalExtractor or extracted all the Hybrid_2018.02.18.1 files
or copied MP4Box.exe into the 64Bit folder and worked

now we need to understand how to solve this problem

XVid with audio mp3 lame or ac3

Instead if you convert to avi format
whatever the format mediainfo indicates

MPlayer and FFmpeg Muxer

Yes, for me it's still unclear what the problem is since you didn't give me details on how to reproduce the issue.
-> Atm. I can't contact the MP4Box team to look into it since I can't reproduce the issue here and have no clue what you are doing.
Your statement that I could reproduce the issue with any source was wrong.

---

Assuming that you have two problems and the second one it related to avi muxing.
I took a 29.97 fps telecine source, applied IVTC, used Xvid as encoder and avi as container.
And got the following:
Frame rate                               : 23.976 (24000/1001) FPS
Original frame rate                      : 23.976 (23976/1000) FPS
Where 'Original frame rate' indicates the frame rate from the stream itself and 'Frame rate' indicates the frame rate from the video stream.
-> Will look into it.

Found a solution explicitly setting '-ofps' with a fraction seems to fix the issue with Xvid and the .avi container.
Will create a dev-build for testing and send you a link once I can reproduce the MP4Box issue.
