Selur's Little Message Board

Trying to create a torch addon with Vapoursynth R69 using:

• created 'Vapoursynth'-folder
  
• downloaded 'Windows embeddable package (64-bit)' from https://www.python.org/downloads/release/python-3123/
  
• extracted it into the 'Vapoursynth'-folder
  
• downloaded 'VapourSynth64-Portable-R69' from https://github.com/vapoursynth/vapoursynth/releases
  
• extracted it into the 'Vapoursynth'-folder
  
• finished Vapoursynth portable installation:
  • adjusted `python312._pth` by adding:

  Lib\site-packages
  • installed pip:
    • download get-pip.py from https://bootstrap.pypa.io/get-pip.py into the 'Vapoursynth'-folder
      
    • `python get-pip.py`
      
  • `python -m pip install wheel\VapourSynth-69-cp312-cp312-win_amd64.whl`
    
  • `python -m pip install wheel`
    
  • `python -m pip install -U setuptools`
    
• installed torch and dependencies:
  • `python -m pip install -U tensorrt==10.0.1 tensorrt-cu12_bindings==10.0.1 tensorrt-cu12_libs==10.0.1 --extra-index-url https://pypi.nvidia.com`
    
  • `python -m pip install --pre torch torchvision torch_tensorrt --index-url https://download.pytorch.org/whl/nightly/cu124`
    

 
Problem is, in the last step it seems to download all torch 2.5.0.dev
=> no, clue what's happening and whether this now just downloads tons of whl files for torch 2.5.0.dev,..

Does anyone know what's happening?

into three calls show that the problem seems to be torch_tensorrt :
