RE: Deoldify Vapoursynth filter - Selur - 29.12.2025 Quote: No, only the additional Coloring model: "Artistic+artistic" (previously asked and implemented in the test version).Okay => uploading new dev&torch,... RE: Deoldify Vapoursynth filter - zspeciman - 30.12.2025 I'm happy to report the blurring issue has been resolved in the new release. Thank you very much. RE: Deoldify Vapoursynth filter - Dan64 - 05.01.2026 Hello Selur, I noted that in the last dev Hybrid version, is not more possible to select a movie in the Ref dir/file. Even if is specified as input for this box a file, the displayed dialog box allows to select only a folder. Please check. Dan P.S. See also the last HAVC user guide at page 62 RE: Deoldify Vapoursynth filter - Selur - 05.01.2026 I will look at it after work and report back. Cu Selur RE: Deoldify Vapoursynth filter - Selur - 05.01.2026 Uploaded a new dev which hopefully fixes the problem. Cu Selur RE: Deoldify Vapoursynth filter - Dan64 - 05.01.2026 The problem has been fixed with "Hybrid_dev_2026.01.05-145440" Thanks, Dan RE: Deoldify Vapoursynth filter - Dan64 - 07.01.2026 (20.10.2025, 19:11)Dan64 Wrote:(10.10.2025, 10:47)didris Wrote: Hi, Dan64 Recently I changed the HAVC colorization pipeline as described in this post #5 and I have to admit that the DiT models are much less sensitive to the luminance, and they can be used to color also clips with a lot of noise on luma component. It is possible to find an example here: Houdini_color_havc5_qwen-ie.mp4 Currently the hardware requirements for using this new HAVC pipeline are very High, so for the moment I'm not planning to release it, but I hope that in the coming months or years the situation both on HW and SW will improve so much that it will be possible for me to release it in HAVC. Dan RE: Deoldify Vapoursynth filter - Selur - 08.01.2026 Quote:The problem with this clip is that is damaged, and there is a lot of noise on the luma component. If applying filters like SpotLess, MCTemporalDenoise, BasicVSR++ before HAVC doesn't help, then your only choice is to configure the filter so that it is only applied to specific frame ranges and not others. (Don't know of any automated and reliable way to detect 'broken' portions of a clip.) Quote:The colorization process is strongly dependent on the luminance. There should be nothing else in a grayscale- / b&w- clip aside from luma information. The main point of colorization is to keep the luma and invent the chroma,... Cu Selur RE: Deoldify Vapoursynth filter - Selur - 24.01.2026 using: clip = havc.HAVC_main(clip, Preset="veryslow", ColorModel="Artistic+Artistic", CombMethod="Luma-Masked", VideoTune="verystable", ColorTemp="very high", ColorFix="none", ColorTune="none", BlackWhiteTune="none")Is this as one should expect? I kind of expected the different models do show more differences. Cu Selur RE: Deoldify Vapoursynth filter - Dan64 - 24.01.2026 Could you explain better the model switching ? what changes are you doing ? Dan |
