RE: Fedora? - MikeN - 28.02.2026 The Wayland error is gone, but still get the missing arakin error.
RE: Fedora? - Selur - 28.02.2026 Nothing I can do about the akarin error. If you configured Hybrid to explicitly loading the libraries make sure they are named as in the script. If you did not configure Hybrid to explicitly loading the libraries make sure akarin is found by Vapoursynth. You can tell Hybrid to use an alternative 'Expression handler' than akarin, which is the default in Hybrid. Using 'std' should work and tell Hybrid to use: https://www.vapoursynth.com/doc/functions/video/expr.html Cu Selur RE: Fedora? - MikeN - 28.02.2026 How do I tell Hybrid to use the alternative? RE: Fedora? - Selur - 28.02.2026 Argh, sorry, that is only available on Windows. On Linux akarin is required, on Windows I sometimes Hybrid can choose. RE: Fedora? - MikeN - 28.02.2026 OK, probably just give Ubuntu or Manjrao a try. RE: Fedora? - Selur - 28.02.2026 For Ubuntu I wrote script so setup Vapoursynth: https://github.com/Selur/hybrid-vapoursynth-addon Cu Selur RE: Fedora? - MikeN - 01.03.2026 Tried it on KDE Neon and Manjaro and both worked. Neon has a "set abolute paths" error, but found a post from a few years ago about the same error and set the path for vspipe. The plugins akarin and vcmod both failed to install on Neon, but it works anyway. RE: Fedora? - Selur - 01.03.2026 As long as you don't use filters which require these libraries it should work.
