I’ve attached the video and a screenshot to help you better understand the problem.

If you succeed, you're a boss.  Cool

Assuming your are using the (masked) BasicVSR++, you can lessen the effect by enabling
# rainbow removal using DeCross
clip = core.decross.DeCross(clip, thresholdy=5, noise=255, margin=4)
[Image: grafik.png]
or apply a masked (edgemask bloated):
clipFiltered = core.warp.AWarpSharp2(clipFiltered, thresh=255, blur=2, depth=64, chroma=True, planes=[1,2])
before BasicVSR++:

increasing the depth to 127 might help a bit more, but that's probably as good as it gets.

Wow, the result is incredible—it's even better than I hoped for. 👍

I’m not getting the same result. ^^

I restricted the planes to "Chroma only" and additionally restricted it with a 'edgemask (bloated)'.
You did not.
Also, I did use a masked BasicVSR++ (like I did before). (not sure whether you did that or not)
Note the aWarpSharp needs to be before the BasicVSR++.

like that ?

RE: Ringing, Mosquito or Blocking - Selur - 08.04.2026

Yes, and move it before BasicVSR++ (Filtering->Vapoursynth>Misc->Filter Order/Queue).
