Weird white macro blocks on encodes - Kuno - 18.09.2017 Using a 1080Ti to encode, 378.92 drivers, one of your custom builds of Hybrid (that had the subtitle issue back in March I want to say), and I am having these little white macro blocks show up in my encodes no matter what I am encoding. Not sure if it's because my card is clocked so high or if it's just the nature of the beast, but I have not had them on my previous encodes with my 1080. https://imgur.com/eNecOYl https://imgur.com/TvEBCZw https://imgur.com/NZW8kPY These white macro blocks aren't on the original source material, and they are very distracting to say the least haha. I am using CRF 22 NVENC, 6 ref frames, main 10, with no filtering/deinterlacing or post processing. RE: Weird white macro blocks on encodes - Selur - 18.09.2017 If your card is overclocked, there's a good change that's what causing it. Ok I'll bring down the overclock and see if that will do the job. It's currently running at over 2100, as it's running on water. Thank you. RE: Weird white macro blocks on encodes - Kuno - 21.09.2017 I would like to update that removing the overclock has removed the white macro blocks. Thank you. RE: Weird white macro blocks on encodes - Selur - 21.09.2017 Happy to hear that is resolved. Cu Selur |
