I think it doesn't support the video codec and decoder should be update Smile

RE: A weird bug - Selur - 14.08.2021

Will look into it.

RE: A weird bug - b0red - 14.08.2021

Had the same problem this afternoon but with an mkv series, [attachment=1505]
my solution was just to randomly remove a tag via mkvtoolnix to recreate the containers elements.
Dunno why it "freezes" (or crashes) Hybrid at a grey screen though...

RE: A weird bug - Selur - 14.08.2021

About the ProRes file: Problem is that the mplayer version used in Hybri does not support ProRes 444 files.
calling:
"I:\Hybrid\64bit\mplayer.exe" E:/BLINDI~1.MOV -v -msglevel identify=6 -nolirc -frames 0 -vo null -ao null
to get audio&video id's os the stream returns:

MPlayer interrupted by signal 11 in module: demux_open
ID_SIGNAL=11
- MPlayer crashed by bad usage of CPU/FPU/RAM.
Recompile MPlayer with --enable-debug and make a 'gdb' backtrace and
  disassembly. Details in DOCS/HTML/en/bugreports_what.html#bugreports_crash.
- MPlayer crashed. This shouldn't happen.
It can be a bug in the MPlayer code _or_ in your drivers _or_ in your
gcc version. If you think it's MPlayer's fault, please read
DOCS/HTML/en/bugreports.html and follow the instructions there. We can't and
won't help unless you provide this information when reporting a possible bug.
-> Nothing I can do about that atm. since mplayer is still an integral part of Hybrid.

Problem with the mkv is that mplayers mkv demuxer has problems with it I can probably write a workaround for that if you can share a small sample of the source which allows to reproduce the problem.

RE: A weird bug - b0red - 14.08.2021

Can't cut it down since doing that changes the elements and removes whatever is freezing it.
The file is 250MB...

RE: A weird bug - Selur - 14.08.2021

Okay, I got a possible workaround, for the detection. (not using the '-mkv demuxer', but that might cause problems with other files,... -> we will see)
Will send you another dev version for testing in a few minutes via pm.

Cu Selur

RE: A weird bug - Selur - 14.08.2021

Can you share the file with me?
(would like to test a few workarounds on it; all the files I create here and reload work fine :/)

RE: A weird bug - Selur - 14.08.2021

Think I may have a workaround for the mkv, will send you a link to dev version via pm in a few minutes for testing.

Damn, analysis works processing afterwards fails.
