Variable frame rate mode - n4n - 19.09.2022 Any way to to encode this VFR video to CFR 23.976 retaining clip audio/video duration & without ghosting? ``` Width : 1 440 pixels Height : 1 080 pixels Display aspect ratio : 16:9 Frame rate mode : Variable Frame rate : 24.000 FPS Minimum frame rate : 23.976 FPS Maximum frame rate : 29.970 FPS Original frame rate : 23.976 (24000/1001) FPS ``` Hmm I think problem is not with audio... But passthrough out of sync ``` Duration : 23 min 50 s Channel(s) : 2 channels Channel layout : L R Sampling rate : 48.0 kHz Frame rate : 46.875 FPS (1024 SPF) RE: Variable frame rate mode - Selur - 19.09.2022 That info does not say anything, since it does not show what Hybrid reports about the file. Doesn't show the container the file is in. Doesn't show the scan type information, etc. Yes, Hybrid can convert this to 23.976 while keeping the audio/video duration. If Hybrid is properly configured, it will not add ghosting. Whether it can remove existing ghosting would depend on the input. => if you need more detailed help, share a small sample (a few seconds with horizontal movement should be enough) which reflects the characteristics of the clip. From these details, I can say that: a. the container is flagged as 24fps b. the video stream is flagged as 23.976fps c. the video time codes indicate VFR between 23.976 and 29.97) No clue whether any of these pieces of information are correct, or just caused by some error or broken muxing. Cu Selur RE: Variable frame rate mode - n4n - 19.09.2022 I was able to achieve the desired result by converting audio from container frame rate of 24.000 FPS to 23.976 FPS. And leaving all video frame settings default. The resulting clip is fully the synced. |
