False positive for a virus in win (2023.12.22.1) - Dmitry - 23.12.2023 kaspersky detect some files as virus in installation process. How to fix it? I disabled it, but after installation i got this errors: "Found no activationattributeNameFilter for key (HDRWToSDRdg)! (let Selur know)" then "bdsup2sub+ + ©This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. GetTool Versions got an empty output for bdsup2sub+ + The cause might be that bdsup2sub++ could not be found,... Please redo this with debug output enabled and tell the author." then the program crashes thanks RE: False positive for a virus in win (2023.12.22.1) - Selur - 23.12.2023 Not at Home, so can not test, activationattributeNameFilter should have been fixed, HDRWToSDRdg seems like a typo. will look at after the holiday when I am back Home. About the false positive, nothing I can do. You can report it to Kaspersky. RE: False positive for a virus in win (2023.12.22.1) - Dmitry - 23.12.2023 Well, thanks! It would be good to understand which file, the installer itself does not identify as a virus. This happens during the installation process. RE: False positive for a virus in win (2023.12.22.1) - Selur - 23.12.2023 If Kaspersky does not give details in that: No clue RE: False positive for a virus in win (2023.12.22.1) - ToiletDuck - 24.12.2023 (23.12.2023, 21:26)Dmitry Wrote: then if i recall correct, bdsup2sub requires java runtime for it to work.. my 2 cents. Cheers, td RE: False positive for a virus in win (2023.12.22.1) - Selur - 25.12.2023 bdsup2sub+ + does not use Java but c++. RE: False positive for a virus in win (2023.12.22.1) - Selur - 25.12.2023 I searched the source code: 'HDRWToSDRdg' is not present in the source code and does not appear when I install Hybrid on another system. => can't reproduce the problem Cu Selur RE: False positive for a virus in win (2023.12.22.1) - Dmitry - 27.12.2023 I can't figure out which file it's triggered on. The installer itself is not detected as a virus. I use kaspersky free. The site for checking files and reporting false positives accepts files up to 256 MB. https://opentip.kaspersky.com RE: False positive for a virus in win (2023.12.22.1) - Selur - 27.12.2023 Doesn't it have some sort of log to show such things? RE: False positive for a virus in win (2023.12.22.1) - Dmitry - 28.12.2023 Maybe something to do with it: \Hybrid\64bit\vsfilters\SourceFilter\FFMS2\ |
