Using Google Colab for upscaling. - MikeMcI - 17.01.2025 I'm toying with the idea of carrying out video upscaling on the GPUs available on Google Colab. A new GPU for my PC would be nice, but an expense I won't get past my wife :} I'm struggling getting meaningful scripts written for Real-ESRGAN. The Github repository seems to be out of date and I'm struggling getting the right dependencies/ versions identified, either using the model directly, or trying to get vapoursynth onboard. Yes, I am very much a newbie working with Colab. Has anyone managed to pull this one off or is it just a pipe dream? I guess another option could be setting up a virtual machine & running Hybrid on that. Again has anyone had any experience with this? RE: Using Google Colab for upscaling. - Selur - 17.01.2025 Moved the thread since it's not really a Hybrid related question. RE: Using Google Colab for upscaling. - MikeMcI - 25.01.2025 Apologies Selur. I thought I might have been pushing out the boat with that question. I'm going to have a play with setting up a VM and running Hybrid on that. Regards Mike Mc. |
