MagicYUV - Mejnour - 30.01.2025
Hello Selur,
I have a good amount of MagicYUV video files.
I use Hybrid to produce progressive file with Vapoursynth QTGMC.
I know that Hybrid can decode MagicYUV file but I would like to know if there is a way to encode with the same codec?
Right now I am using built-in UT codec, but this codec is not really friendly in Premiere pro...

Is there a free command line encoder for MagicYUV that accepts input vide pipe?
If there is: I can look into it.
If there is not, then there is no way to add support for it.

I am ignorant about the command line stuff...
It look like there is some SDK support.

I know I can use it with ffmeg.

How do you use it with FFmpeg?, assuming you mean the command line tool.
Also it does not look like there is a free version.

I make it work in Video2X Qt6 where there is a FFmpeg Settings tab.
I did use command found on this thread.

Codec magicyuv
Pixel Format yuv422p
