passthrough original encode/tag date tags? - AncientMystic - 22.03.2025 is this possible? or a way to convert them to another tag or anything? loading thousands of videos that are only sorted by their date tag from when they were taken in the software they will be loaded into. it will save me a great deal of space but the only downside is that if i convert them it will write new tags and just destroy the date structure which would be really problematic. EDIT: i have found preserve metadata is apparently handled in ffmpeg via the command "-map_metadata 0" just not sure how to use this with hybrid. RE: passthrough original encode/tag date tags? - Selur - 23.03.2025 There is 'Config->Container->General->Adjust creation date to input'. For mkv containers using, 'Config->MKV tagging->Auto load from input' might also work, if the DATE_ENCODED or another official mkv tag was used. Cu Selur RE: passthrough original encode/tag date tags? - AncientMystic - 23.03.2025 i am not seeing that option, am i missing it something? thank you for your help Selur RE: passthrough original encode/tag date tags? - Selur - 23.03.2025 Ah, sorry, I overlooked that this the creation time refers to the file creation and that option only is enabled on Linux. So on Windows only the mkv option is available. Cu Selur |
