My "Avisynth" tab underneath my "FIltering" tab is gray and not useable. How can I resolve this?

Did you set 'Support' to 'Avisynth' ?
This option allows to tell Hybrid wether to use Avisynth, Vapoursynth or no XSynth for filtering.
