Nvenc novideo after conversion of variable framerate video - chicozeb - 18.08.2018 Hi. I´m trying to convert some VR videos to use with PSVR. Some of that videos have variable framerate. The ones with constant framerate don´t give me trouble, but the ones with variable framerate, after conversion, don´t play, or play without video, only audio. To fix the problem, I have to stop the encoding when mp4fpsmod starts. Then i can use mp4box to mix the video file with the audio, using the files on temp folder. The video file before mp4fpsmod has constant framerate. If i let the process finish, the file stays with variable framerate, but different from the source, and does not play, or plays without image, depending on the player. I´m using nvenc, variable bitrate 25000 max 30000, h.264. Resize to 3200x1600, bicubic spline. The video files, well... are vr porn videos. Some from 18vr.com and badoink have this variable framerate. Usually they are meant to oculus rift. On a side note. Nvenc ffmpeg works, but the bitrate is always very low, no matter what bitrate I choose. So, if I use 30000Kbps, it stays with someting like 6000Kbps... Thanks. Quote:To fix the problem, I have to stop the encoding when mp4fpsmod starts.mp4fpsmod is only used to add the time codes from the source to the output. Since you didn't mention that mp4fpsmod crashes (which it does in case there are more time codes than frames or the time codes are not linear increasing) I got no clue why Hybrid would only output audio only. -> Need more details an a small source sample which allows me to reproduce the issue to even know whether Hybrid is at fault here or whether the source is buggy.
