How to trim videos? - deama - 01.01.2019 Hi, so I couldn't manage to figure out (or find in this forum) a guide on how to trim videos, can Hybrid even do that? RE: How to trim videos? - Selur - 01.01.2019 Hybrid has an experimental Trim/Cut-Support which allows a single cut which you can use by enabling: Config->Internals->Cut Support (make sure to read the tool-tips). EDIT: Ah I found it, it's in the BASE > cut start > cut end. But it's grayed out even though I ticked it? It ungrayes when I don't use passthrough, isn't there an option to use passthrough with video? RE: How to trim videos? - Selur - 01.01.2019 Once the option is enabled, 'Base->Processing->Cut' is available. RE: How to trim videos? - Selur - 01.01.2019 Yes, Hybrid does not support cutting in passthrough atm. Cu Selur RE: How to trim videos? - ropdwr - 15.12.2020 haha, thank you, I only now know that Hybrid has this feature RE: How to trim videos? - Chris Becker - 28.11.2024 Most editing software lets you select the portion of the video you want to keep and delete the rest. If you’re looking for something simple and free, there are options out there that get the job done without a steep learning curve—here’s a helpful guide to get started: https://www.movavi.com/learning-portal/free-video-editing-software.html. Just load your video, set the in-and-out points, and save the trimmed version. RE: How to trim videos? - Bartoloni - 01.12.2024 trim video before processing using losslesscut. RE: How to trim videos? - Robbie303 - 08.12.2024 Hi Selur, I noticed that strange things are happening when cropping a video. I use QTGMC de-interlacing. When I use the crop assistant to determine the correct crop values for L,T,R,B, then the result will not be trimmed enough. In the encoded video, the video will not be trimmed enough, it looks like every time I need to use the double value for L,T,R,B. And when I use the CropView from VapourSynth, then the selected value for the right crop will only show effect on the cropping of the filtered preview (not of the Original) Changing the L,T and B crop values will show effect on the original only. I think that the BOB has effect on the cropping, having the result that the actual crop will be half the values as found during the preview. I use the latest version of Hybrid. EDIT: Haha, And strangely enough, it now suddenly works. After I ran the VapourSynth preview, then the crop values that I find now are correct, (double as to the values that I found) And then also the crop values found in the normal crop viewer will be correct (there will be green lines after 1 time the VapourSynth previewer has been run) |
