Job queue order questions
#1
1. Is there a way to sort the job queue with output filename ?

I don't know why, but when I import a bunch of videos with chronological name order (e.g from 099 to 167), episodes are not added in this order to the queue (I think they're not even loaded chronologically in Hybrid). thus, the queue is completely messy and I have to reorder it manually.

2. Furthermore, even when I sort the queue manually and save it into a .jobs file, it ignores the current order of the queue so it's still not in order when I reload it from the file.

I think that if Hybrid could import videos in order, it'd solve everything.

Hybrid does not sort the files, it just takes the files in the order it gets them from the OS file dialog.
I probably can add an option for a simple 'sort input by name' 'ascending/descending'.
Will try to look at it tomorrow after work.

Ps.: iirc. the job queue might get sorted on input by job ids Smile

Alright, that'd be very helpful Smile

It doesn't do anything when clicking on the "ID" column (and well, IDs will have the same bad order as the original queue)

Uploaded a new dev version, try whether that and enabling "Config->Input->Input Analysis->Sort Inputs by file name" works.

Tried last dev, but 167.mkv is still analysed before 099.mkv when I import both, so they're added to queue accordingly.
Also, the box next to " Sort Inputs by file name" is greyed out (set on ascending).

Try new dev Smile
(accidentally Hybrid used the sorted and not the unsorted list Wink)
