Selecting a folder for installation

ComfyUI refuses to install the Deep Exemplar plug-in due to a new security feature. I wasted 2 days on that.
Why do you refer me to ComFyUI? I am now hooked on HAVC and YOUR Vapoursyth colorizer work!
Kindly read my earlier e-mail again.

I know that the last Desktop version of ComfUI has problem, if you install the portable version, these problems are not present. I suggested ComfUI not as alternative to HAVC, but as an alternative to Nano Banana. I opened a specific thread regarding the use of Diffusion models to create well colored reference frames, see:  Using Stable Diffision models for Colorization

Currently mi coloring pipeline is similar to the one described in the chapter "Advanced coloring using adjusted reference frames" in my user guide, the only difference is that instead to manually adjust the reference frames using Photoshop Elements, now I'm using Nunchaku Qwen-Image-Edit-2511 (available also in ComfyUI). Given the very good results obtained with this DiT model, I decided to color all the reference frames in this way, then I use ColorMNet (with Vivid unchecked) with Method "external RF different from Video" to colorize all the movie as described at the pages 50-59 of my user guide.

I recently published this movie: A Night To Remember (Colorized, 1958) that was colored using this new pipeline. If you watch this movie (which can be downloaded easily, not like YouTube) you will note that the colors are very accurate vivid and quite stable, something that cannot be obtained using DeOldify or DDColor. Look at the movie and you will see the differences.

Use a different thread in the "A/V Talk" to discuss ComyUI&Co.
This has nothing to do with Hybrid.

=> I'm losing this thread.
