I've run HP's diagnostics and it reports no problems with the Windows 11 install or the hardware. I've checked the EventViewer logs and all I see that might be causing the freezes are three "Event 10016, DistributedCOM" alerts. I'm at a loss to see what else it could be. I'm not particularly experienced with the innrer workings of PCs, so I'm now stuck. Do you know any way to get these issues fixed, if it is indeed these errors that are causing the problem?

When a stress test causes freezes, it's usually either:
- Temperature issue (cpu/gpu/ram)
- Over-/Underclocking issues (cpu/gpu/ram)
- Energy saving issues with cores (on systems with e-cores try disabling p-cores in bios)
- Some tool running in the background that is causing issues (especially tweaking tools adn stuff like MSI-Afterburner)
- Driver issues.
- Power consumption/stability/saving problems
- Hardware problems
"Event 10016, DistributedCOM" alerts
Event 10016 (DistributedCOM) seem to be a very common, non-critical Windows warning. It occurs when a background service or app tries to access a DCOM (Distributed Component Object Model) component without the required permissions. It rarely causes system crashes or performance issues and is usually safe to ignore

Ps.: I always deinstall all those system vendor diagnostic&co tools.

It's strange, I can run other apps and encode ProRes to x264 with no problem.
I guess I will have to find somebody to fix the PC as I do not have any ideas what to do

Question is whether the cpu&gpu are as taxed when you do that, then when you use Hybrid and your filter chain?
