Enable Vapoursynth in Hybrid - Linux Manjaro/Arch
#54
Okay, to get the result I did: Smile
Rebuild the Vapoursynth plugins (https://github.com/Selur/hybrid-vapoursynth-addon) to get the library for ReduceFlicker.
Update the Vapoursynth scripts (https://github.com/Selur/VapoursynthScriptsInHybrid).
Then try the following in Hybrid
  • Start Hybrid
  • Load Source
  • Crop the image (Left: 12, Top:4, Right: 12, Bottom: 4)
  • Enable 'Convert output to PAR' and set it to 'square pixel (1:1)
  • Set 'Picture Resize' width to 704.
  • Enable 'Bob' in QTGMCs settings.
  • Enable 'Denoise->MC Temporal Denoise' and set 'Settings' to 'very high'.
  • Enable 'Denoise->SpotLess' with 'Temporal radius' set to 3.
  • Enable 'Frame->Stabilize->ReduceFlicker'
  • Enable 'Line->Misc->Balanced Borders' and set right to 40. (Sorry, my bad. I mixed up EdgeFixer and BalancedBorders.) Big Grin
  • Enable 'Sharpen->awarSharp2'
Note that this doesn't help with the ghosting. If you are lucky, you can find a pattern to throw out the blended frames and then calculate new ones.
