Go compile vsViewer on Windows I usually:

• install Visual Studio Community, then Qt 6.6 with QCreator.
  
• start QCreator
  
• Open the vsViewer.pro file
  
• Then Configure the Project (Projects->Configure Project) to use "Desktop Qt 6.6)
  
• then I switch to Release (lower right corner)
  
• Start the compilation (Build->Rebuild)
