What is the proper procedure to follow once a crash occurs?

• check if you need anything from the temp folder
  
• clear temp folder
  
• restart Hybrid
  
• follow steps to create debug output
  
• reproduce the problem
  
• create new thread in the forum (assuming there is none so far) about the problem, describe what you are doing and share the debug output
  

Also cannot exempt folders from scan in the latest mcafee install.

Then, if it crashes again, try whether you can reproduce the problem if mcafee is deactivated (better deinstalled).
