any purge color artifacts on a b&w source can be dealt with by setting the saturation to 0.
I changed Saturation to zero, put my file back in, and processed it. I knew it worked because the Image Entertainment color logo is now in monochrome. I played one of the scenes that displayed colour artifacts and they're now gone! Big thanks!

Those files are in MPEG-4 ASP, I was expecting something in a lossless format.
Are those your source files? (main issue with these are the compression artifacts)
So I took my lossless AVI recording and played it in PotPlayer, which is what I used to re-record selected clips to MPEG-4 ASP in an MKV container. Going forward, I can alter the recording settings in PotPlayer so they're in lossless. In spite of the compression artifacts, would you still be able to make some filter recommendations based on what you viewed?
