Just to say that I did NOT invade another user's thread: Dan64 responded to me and it was him who went off-topic by mentioning ComfyUI (a product that I dislike).
In the end I solved my crash problems myself and concluded that certain versions of Hybrid and HAVC have compatibility issues. I hope they will get some attention for the benefit of other users. That's all.
