i'm preparing a package...
(it's still there in 2026.07.05)
how to:
0) load the files from https://my.hidrive.com/share/r7q.1f0h.o
1) open "rotsampleoriginal.mkv" for input,
2) change processing video to "nvenc"
- go into the nvenc, check "av1", go to misc tab
- activate hdr signaling
- check values for light levels and master display data (taken from input)
- uncheck the marks on "from input" (in order to preserve them for the next input file)
3) go to nvenc/color, see that the VUI data for primes, transfer, matrix and range are correctly recognised. nod in approval and move on.
4) open new input file "rotsampletarget.mov"
- goto nvenc/misc, check lightlevels and master display data (preserved from last file), all correct.
- goto nvenc/color, realise that transfer character sits at "undef", although it is present in the new source file (screenshot)
correct it manually, or suffer the consequences
