[HELP] Alternating scanline horizontal shift / diagonal striping on VHS dub
#6
Hi Selur,
Thanks for the suggestions!

Regarding the green glitch: I'm currently running macOS build 2026.09.06.1 (will update to 2026.10.09.1 to see if it's already resolved there), so it could well be Mac- or version-specific.

Since we are on macOS, I think F2Quiver and CNR aren't available here. However, as tested earlier, the chroma height reduction approach already works nicely for reducing the line jitter.

Our entire video capture and ingest chain is Mac-based and built to broadcast-grade standards. At our association, we are currently planning a new high-performance workstation for heavy Hybrid, DaVinci Resolve, and Neat Video workloads, and are weighing whether to go with a maxed-out Mac Studio or build a dedicated Windows PC rig.

Best regards,
Mikael / Finnish Digitization Association
