"PAR=1" in a profile ?

Without a source loaded the target resolution doesn't mean anything.
What I did:

1. started Hybrid
   
2. enabled 'Crop/Resize->Base->Pixel Aspect Ratio (PAR)->Convert output to PAR'
   
3. set 'Crop/Resize->Base->Pixel Aspect Ratio (PAR)->Convert output to PAR' to 'Square Pixel (1:1)'
   
4. Saved a new Global Profile ('Config->Profiles->Global profile->Save global profile')
   
5. closed Hybrid
   
6. started Hybrid
   
7. selected the previously saved profile (Config->Global profile->Name)
   
8. loaded the profile (Config->Global profile->Apply global profile)
   
9. checked that 'Crop/Resize->Base->Pixel Aspect Ratio (PAR)->Convert output' is enabled and set to 'Square Pixel (1:1)'
   
10. loaded an anamorphic source file and checked the Crop/Resize-Tab
    
11. checked again, and the 'Picture Resize' settings were adjusted properly.
    

=> my guess is that you load your 'Global Profile' after loading the source and not before like you should.
