seems like mkvmerge keeps the mov wrapper around the pcm stream.
Would need a (small) sample to play around to see if I can somehow convince it to not do that.

Since FFV1 is meant as a lossless codec I think it sticking with the input is normally the right way to go, but I'll think about it.
