[HELP] Any Way to Only Encode A Little Bit, Stop the Encode and Then Check the Result?

a. Temporary files are in the temp folder. (Config->Paths)
b. Hybrid has an experimental cut option which can be used for what you want, you can enable it under Config->Internals->Cut Support.
c. Hybrid has normal, Avisynth and Vapoursynth previews which allow to preview the filtering.

Thank you very much that was very helpful, the QTGMC + bob deinterlacing is awesome from what I can see so far, though I do have 2 more questions now if you wouldn't mind.

1. When I encode a video with Hybrid I get colors that are quite off when I compare the Hybrid encode together with the source, I don't know what could be the issue, both the Hybrid encodes and the source are YUV, 4:2:0, 8-bit, Limited Range, the only difference I see is that the encodes say that they are "BT.709" while the source mediainfo doesn't say anything like that, not sure if that's the issue though. Might you have any idea what could be the issue and how I could get accurate colors that match the source?

2. The DVD has a storage aspect ratio of 720x480, but the display aspect ratio is actually 640x480 (no hardcoded black bars on this one), on Handbrake I know how to get rid of the 720x480 storage aspect ratio and just get an encode at the display aspect ratio of 640x480, see Handbrake screenshots:
