I've been using Hybrid to extract webm files and convert them to mp4. It worked flawlessly until recently, where Hybrid was started complaining about no video file, so I upgraded to 2020.10.11.1 and now it seems that the problem is worse.
Hybrid 2020.10.11.1,
Edition Windows 10 Enterprise
Version 20H2
Installed on 12/11/2019
OS build 19042.630
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.31.0
1) Drop the webm on the Hybrid UI.
2) While analyzing the file, I receive a pop-up: "Found no video or audio data in input"
3) Click OK.
In the previous version, I clicked OK and returned to working with Hybrid. With the new version, it no longer allows me to return to the program in an interactive way; instead everything is "greyed" and I have to exit and restart Hybrid to attempt to work with it again.
So, I guess the problem is twofold: is the failure to analyze the file have something to do with a change in the wrapper/codec? It *started* happening with a previous Hybrid version, but it was definitely new behavior in a static installation, so I want to point to changes in the webm wrapper.
Why does Hybrid now crash in a bad way instead of returning to being interactive?
