Have you used hdr10plus_parser 0.2.5 ?
Also make sure to enable:
"x265->Signaling->HDR-10/HDR-10+->Light Level"
and
"x265->Signaling->HDR-10/HDR-10+->Master Display"

Okay it's 'SMPTE ST 2086' vs. 'SMPTE ST 2094'.
Argh, my bad,
"x265->Signaling->HDR-10/HDR-10+->Light Level"
and
"x265->Signaling->HDR-10/HDR-10+->Master Display"
need to be disabled, otherwise the HDR-10 json isn't used.Wink

Will send you a link to a new dev version in a few minutes which should allow signaling HDR-10&HDR-10+ info at the same time on reencoding and which should produce 'SMPTE ST 2094 App 4, Version 1' and the Master Level&Co data.

Ps.: If you stumble over a freely available (legal) HDR-10 sample let me know. Smile Over here in Germany it's illegal to circumvent copy protection measurement even for private copies so I'm always looking for freely available HDR-10+ clips. (Also looking for software decoders which allow HDR-10+ and Dolby Vision decoding.)

I don't think that signaling 'HDR' needs to be disabled.

I reencoded a file using:
x265 --preset ultrafast --log-level 2 --input - --output-depth 10 --y4m --profile main10 --no-hme --crf 40.00 --sao --range limited --colormatrix bt709 --master-display "G(8500,39850)B(6550,2300)R(35399,14599)WP(15634,16450)L(15000000,1)" --max-cll "1043,23" --hdr --dhdr10-info "F:\TestClips&Co\files\HDR\HDR-10+\muxing\HDR-10+.json" --output "E:\Temp\without HDR10+ data.265"
