[HELP] 0,01 values qcomp & aq
#1
Hi,

I've installed the latest version, finally moving from MeGUI to Hybrid.

Noticed that I can't use small steps for qcomp and aq values. It's either 0,6 or 0,7, I can't put 0,65. Editing manually the xml file and loading doesn't do anything - I manually written 0,65 qcomp in xml file, loaded it to hybrid, did the encoding and the result shows 0,7 values.

Any chance to use small steps of 0,01 ???

I assume you are using x264, if that's the case I could modify Hybrid to allow 0.01 steps easily,..
(I usually never needed it and nobody ever asked for it. Smile)
As a workaround you could add a custom command line addition.

Yes, sorry, forgot to mention it's about x264.

Would be nice. I got used to middle values like 0,65.

Thank you!

Send you a link to a dev version via pm which allows to use 0.01 steps for qcomp and aq-strength.
