-> Check the "Vapoursynth Preview"  (Filtering lower right corner)
here's a larger view:

When I change the blur to blur12 the blur is larger,...
-> looks fine to me,...

no, your larger view is still the wrong effect, as the same as encoding ass into video directly like mine, got the wrong effect which not what i want.

Sorry, I don't see the difference between you lower picture ( guess from Aegisub) and my upper picture (which uses the SubText filter),...  Undecided
I can try some other subtitle filters tomorrow,..

look at this pic, the upper part is the best,   is correct,    is the original ass {\blur4} right level,   is encoded SUP file into video directly with Hybrid result,    is what i want.

the below part is wrong,    is not right,    is encoded ASS file into video directly with Hybrid result,    is not what i want.

maybe your MPC player is not right, can you try Potplayer?

first, drag the original ASS to potplayer to see the correct effect, then edit the original ass file, {\blur4} change it to {\blur12}, save and drag it to potplayer, see the wrong effect.

of course there is no difference between my lower picture, because it's wrong , the lower pic is not right, and you got the wrong effect too. it's the result what i encoded ASS directly, i need to get the upper pic result, because the upper part is correct.

I made a comparison how

1. http://www.vapoursynth.com/doc/plugins/subtext.html
2. https://github.com/HomeOfVapourSynthEvol...y-VSFilter
3. https://github.com/HomeOfVapourSynthEvolution/VSFilter
render the file:

If either xy-VSFilter or VSFilter correctly render the file I can write some support for them tomorrow. (going to bed now, need to stand up in 6hrs)

yeah, i'm wondering why enabling 'Filtering->Vapoursynth->Misc->Script->Always use Vapoursynth' this setting,

i just only encode using x264, and import subtitle to encode into video, not using any filters at all, why enable Vapoursynth filter can fix?

yeah, don't worry, thank you for the help.

accoding to your pic, left to right, 1 is not right,   2,3 is right,  2,3 is the result what i wish for when encode ass into video directly done.

Send you a link (with some comments via PM) to a dev version which should fix the problem. Smile
