[HELP] suggestions on how to deal with it like this ?

on the left top is DVD source, behind it is TV version movie, you can see the TV version also use the DVD source, because the purple line is unique to DVD, but the TV version's quality is better than DVD.

and the TV version purple line on the right looks more sharper, more saturated colors, also more clear. and crop some right edge.

so how to deal with the dvd source using Hybrid, to get the same tv version's line, if line's effect can be better, the picture quality will get improve, and i can get the same results as the TV version.

1. That line is due to a mistake during the processing of the source.
2. you normally would crop that line and the black bars
3. if you want to keep it you could resize and apply a line darkening filter (denoising, deringing, color adjustment might also help)
