Audio encoding crash

but while it plays the whole video it report that the lenght is 1 hour and 18 minutes while VLC, without audio, reports that the video is correctely 2 hours and 27 minutes.

Okay, seems like there is still something wrong.
Did you add any subtitle files or similar? (or have files with the same name lying next to the file?)

Ps.: when using VLC make sure to use the latest nightly build (personally I use mpc-hc).
