[HELP] how to encode WAV to PCM audio?

merge wav into video with mkvtoolnix, then in potplayer, the audio displays IEEE Float audio, not PCM, so how to encode WAV to PCM with Hybrid, in order to in potplayer can display PCM audio. thanks.

a. never used potplayer, not starting to
b. no details in regards to the used settings
c. "IEEE Float audio" sound like some output format of a decoder like libav
-> best ask the potplayer team
