I also just checked on my portable Hybrid version, there the local.conf is simply missing, so deleting the file might also be an option.

I removed local.conf and I no longer get the start up errors.

I am still seeing this:

Yeah, nothing I can do about that atm. .
It's an issue between Qt and Mac.

found a workaround will be included in the next release, nothing to worry about it only lightly changes how the characters in vsViewer are displayed.
