That worked. 
Audio encoding is pretty slow and only uses 10% CPU - I don't know if that's normal or a bug.

That's normal and not Hybrids fault.
Enabling "Jobs->Queue->Parallel subjob processing" will tell Hybrid to run subjobs that are not interfering or depending on one another in parallel helps a bit wiht the general subjob processing , but won't speed up the subjobs itself.
