[HELP] QTGMC question
#1
If I select "1" (top field first) does it matter if I then select even or odd?

Thanks,

That depends on your source. Smile
  • Order: should normally left alone at '-1' which indicates that the detected scan type is used, it's mainly there when telecine content is being deinterlaced
  • Select: sets whether the top/bottom fields should be kept after QTGMC when aiming for same rate deinterlacing.
Sometime source have noise/distortions only in one field and the other is visible better in such a case selecting the cleaner field is the better choice. If both field are clean or in the same way 'un-clean' it does not matter.
