[HELP] Interpolating to fill missing frames
#1
Need some help, please.  I have an old video that is Pal at 25fps. but the recording wasn't done right.  The problem is that every 5th frame is the same as the fourth.  So its 1 2 3 4 4 6 7 8 8 10 11 12 12 Is it possible to replace the duplicate frames 4, 8, 12 with an interpolate frame so create a frame 5 9 13?   If it is, how do you set it up?  Thank you. Please, read the 'Infos needed to fix&reproduce bugs,..'-sticky before you post about a problem. Please, read the 'Infos needed to fix&reproduce bugs,..'-sticky before you post about a problem.

Filtering->Vapoursynth->Frame->Misc->FillDrops will is what you want to use.
It will identity by dubplicates.
I would recommand to first enable the Debug of that option an use the Vapoursynth Preview to see which frames will be identified as duplicates (based on the current threshold) and then interpolated using the selected method.
Usually ~0.3 is a good value for normal SD content and ~0.12 HD content, but make sure to adjust the value to your source.
