With dev version - same dupe frames when in Vapoursynth, but switching to Avisynth works ok.

The clip I attached was created with Vapoursynth => no clue why you get duplicate frames and I don't Sad

Dev versions are in the 'experimental'-folder of my GoogleDrive, which is linked on the download page.

It's a mystery. When I add the clip, I'm leaving TIVTC settings as default. No other settings changed.

You did try whether setting "Filtering->Vapoursynth->Misc->Source->Limit decoder threads" to 1 helps, right? (you haven't replied to that,...)

Just tried that, same dupe frames.

When looking at the frames in Vapoursynth Preview, make sure to start a few (at least fps) frames before the frame you want to look at and step towards it, otherwise it might be some preview issue.

Okay, do you see the duplicates in the Vapoursynth Preview?

I will check.

I have tried again in Avisynth overwriting the input file to progressive, as the output file from TIVTC was interlaced (origianal scan type: progressive) as per MediaInfo.

This is interesting, as I said it was originally from a PAL master:

Quote:2:2:3:2:3 Pulldown is a Pulldown pattern used to play 25fps Progressive video at 29.97fps. This can be used to convert PAL video to NTSC without altering playback speed. For applications like DVD the video will still need to be encoded at a legal NTSC Resolution. This only works with progressive sources.

Quote:MediaInfo:
Frame rate : 23.976 (24000/1001) FPS
Standard : NTSC
Color space : YUV
Chroma subsampling : 4:2:0
Bit depth : 8 bits
Scan type : Progressive
Scan order : 2:3 Pulldown

The mediainfo isn't really clear there, but the source if probably soft telecined and does not use a 2:2:3:2:3 Pulldown.
Do you have an NVIDIA gpu on your Windows system?
