MP4Box opts
#1
Hello, Selur.

Firstly, I'd like to ask if there is somewhere in Hybrid the possibility to pass extra options to the muxing process when using MP4Box, as there is for mkvmerge?

Since I've not found it, and if in fact it doesn't exist, I'd like to request this feature. There are several options that can be used with it, but it would be extremely cumbersome to add each of them individually to Hybrid. So, if it exists for mkvmerge, why not for MP4Box as well? Tongue

What options that are not covered by the gui are you missing?
(Depending on the option, it might be worth adding it to the gui.)

Most present at https://github.com/gpac/gpac/wiki/mp4box-gen-opts and https://github.com/gpac/gpac/wiki/mp4box-other-opts
Mainly for manipulating metadata and tagging, like: -brand, -ab, -rb, -no-iod, -cprt, -chap, -lang, -time, -mtime, -tags, -itags and so on.
In short, it depends on the specific case. Smile

Okay, that is too vague for me to add.
I'm not going to add a custom MP4Box line for this.
Especially since either Hybrid already supports the option or I don't really see a use case for it.
So if you really need any of these in a command line Hybrid simply isn't the tool to use.
