trying to remove Temporaldegrain2 from worklog
#1
I'm trying to speed up my workjob using only the QTGMC (instead of QTGMC+TD2)
i'm mainly converting marriage VHS... i'm fascinated about the TD2 ability to "regenerate" Hairs (removing the squared pixels taken from camera CCD ) maintaining the same original resolution (720x576)

these are my actual deinterlacing settings (completely disabling TD2) ... any suggestion?

and here maybe a small clip with "hairs" www.wcn.it/blackmagic.avi

and here an example of parallel lines: www.wcn.it/blackmagic2.avi

thank you for any help

1st thing that comes to mind: Enabling 'Pad mod16' and 'OpenCL' might speedUp QTGMC a bit.

will look at it later.

(since speed is of the essence, using machine learning stuff is no option)
one suggestion, no clue about speed:

ReduceFlicker can help with the 'wiggly' top.
