Take only left or right audio channel without mixing?
#1
Some times ago' i found on the forum some instructions about mixing audio channels (but today i was not able to identify the thread)
i have a lot of footages (from VHS) that are like this:

the left channel is complete ... and the right for some sort of ragion (wrong contacts on camcorder? wrong cables when transferring to video8 to vhs?, a strange kind of microfone?)
is missing a lot of the signal..

in this case can be nice to have on the audio tab of Hybrid something like "only left" or "only right" selection to obtain a mono output.

sorry if this is already implemented ... i don't want to create a double thread.. but please pinpoint me to the correct one.

have a nice day and thank you for this extraordinary tool.

set "Auto->Base->Audio Encoding Optiosn->Filtering->Downmix" to 'custom'
this allows you to set a custom mix (see for example https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=152034 and https://web.archive.org/web/202104101504...t/sox.html, https://forum.selur.net/thread-306.html)
