[HELP] Hybrid does not show "qaac" as an option
#1
Hello!

I waana encode using "qaac", but for some reason it does not appear as an option, even tho the executable is recognized in "Tools".
Do I need to change some setting?

Thank you for your time!

qaac is just a frontend for the Quicktime encoder libraries, which I can't ship with Hybrid due to their license.
Those libraries come with the Apple Application Support.
see: https://github.com/nu774/qaac/wiki/Installation
Hybrid does check:
a. the registry
b. whether a QTfiles64 exists next to qaac (which then needs to include the required libraries)
not totally sure whether this is 'legal', but https://github.com/AnimMouse/QTFiles/releases seems to offer a download for the libraries outside of Quicktime&Itunes.

Thanks for your support!

I already have iTunes and QuickTime installed, guess I'm going to check what I'm missing.

Make sure you got a 64bit install, also see https://forum.selur.net/thread-1913.html to see what registry entries Hybrid checks.
