[INFO] Hybrid interoperability between windows and Mac
#1
Hi there

Recently I have started diving into the world of digitising analog video which has led me to Hybrid.

I have both a windows system and Mac and was hoping to use hybrid on both systems however I can't find the Mac installers. I have seen a number of online videos mention it is available for Mac but there does not seem to be any installer available now.

I just wanted to clarify the situation and whether the Mac option is now discontinued?

Assuming hybrid on Mac is no longer an option if I do my analog capture on my Mac as ProRes onto a NAS will the windows version be able to work with the files? I am hoping to avoid conversion after capture as much as possible.

Yes, Mac version has been discontinued for more than 2 years.
Yes, ProRes files can be processed without problems.

Dev versions are in the 'experimental'-folder of my GoogleDrive, which is linked on the download page.

Ah ok. I thought that may be the case.

Still it's great that I can use this workflow with ProRes.

Thanks for the quick reply.
