[HELP] Subtitle track "too small"
#1
Hi, I'm trying to pass through a subtitle track from my source file that was ripped from a MiniDVD, which contains info on the date and time as a little toggleable overlay on the source file. When I try importing the file into Hybrid it claims to be "too small," leaving me with no sub to work with:

Started a subtitle extraction for source: 1
Ignored and deleted '[FILE]_id_2_lang_en_default.idx' too small!
  Finished subtitle extraction for E:\Videos\DVDs\[FILE].mkv

Any way to let Hybrid accept the track? Thanks!

Hybrid reports the too small message, when the idx file does not exist or is < 400 byte.
I suspect there is a problem with the extraction, since normally just the header of the idx > 400byte.
Please read the sticky, create and share a debug output of the subtitle extraction.

The issue appears to have resolved itself after restarting my PC; I guess keeping it on for a few days' worth of overnight transcoding or the freshly ripped file caused the extraction error you mentioned. Everything works great now!

Will update if it arises again.
