[BUG] mkvmerge sudden stop
#11
That's extremely strange, since I hadn't touched any experimental settings and typical installation over previous Hybrid version gave me same results

Just to be sure: You did check that no anti virus scanner, firewall or similar is running amok and slowing the muxing down,... right?

Dev versions are in the 'experimental'-folder of my GoogleDrive, which is linked on the download page.

Ok, I'm done. It stopped again...
Now it won't even start or stop at 1% !!!
It seems like a FFV1 issue tho: if I passthrough video, mkvmerge does its job

UPD: no f*king way! It depends on the GOP size parameter of FFV1! With GOP = 1000 it stops every time, even on 1min video

I can reproduce that.
=> seems like a bug in mkvmerge
best report it to: https://gitlab.com/mbunkus/mkvtoolnix/-/issues/
(have to go to bed now, if it helps I can report it tomorrow for you there)

Let me know how it goes and whether I should create an issue report or whether you filed one.
