[HELP] svt-av1-psy support
#1
Hello.
I would like to ask if Hybrid supports svt-av1-psy.
I suppose the answer is no.
So i would like to ask if there is any interest in adding such support.
Thanks!

Not planning to add support for it atm., the stuff that works will probably be merged to the main branch.
You could use 'Custom addition' to add additional command line parameters, assuming the existing once are compatible to the main branch.

Ok thank you very much for the info!
BTW what is your opinion about svt-av1-psy ?
I mean if you wanted to create av1 files would you use it ?
Is it much better than svt-av1 ?
Thanks again!

It can be better. For private use, I would probably use a hardware encoder for the speed.
I probably would test it with different settings to get a 'feel' for it.
