Trying to download the latest vs-mlrt from
https://github.com/AmusementClub/vs-mlrt/releases, but for some unknown reason download speed it limited to 280kB/s and aborts after a while for all larger files.
(normal downloads from other sources come with 10-12MB/s)
Resuming the downloads doesn't work in either Chrome nor Firefox.
Does this only happen to me?
Does anyone know a way how to download the release files so that the resume works?
Cu Selur

Sounds like Deutsche Telekom to me. At least I just tried it and had no problem downloading one file. Or maybe it is fixed for everyone.

Thanks for testing, isn't fixed here. still indicates 2hrs+ download time and aborts after half an hour.

From time to time, downloads from github or Amazon AWS cloud servers are heavily throttled. I already complained about that issue in another github project years ago, and people guessed that
there is a transit war among backbone providers of different countries...
Steve Guntrip of the GitHub Developer Support once replied:
Quote:As you mentioned, release assets are served from Amazon S3 in the US. I'm afraid your download speed is a result of the connection between you and Amazon and not something that GitHub has any control over. Your best bet here would be working with your ISP to troubleshoot this.
