Issues Deinterlacing Footage
#1
Hi!

I've come into possession of some footage that has baked in interlacing. I have been able to get a semi decent video by halving the horizontal resolution and then re-sizing it back to the original resolution, but I was wondering if there were any other methods I could use to take out the interlacing without sacrificing a chunk of the detail. Let me know! I've attached a section of the footage for you to look at.

Moved it to 'Small Talk' since it's not a problem or bug. Smile
Seems like the video was not only interlaced and then encoded progressively, but also resized.
Sadly, resizing horizontally, ideally to the original resolution, is probably the best you can do. (and sadly that also isn't a really good solution, like you noticed)
